Horadic Cube
The Horadic Cube is found in the beginning of Act 2. It is an essential part of quests but can also serve a purpose to manipulate items for your own purposes. Basically, you put certain items into the cube and hit the transmute button, which will check if there is a valid combination. If there is, all of the items in the cube will be lost and the new item will appear. The cube is also effective as extra storage, but be careful that you don't transmute on accident and lose all of the items inside of it. You can, however, get around this by not having a valid combination in the Cube, in which case hitting transmute will do nothing.
